My name is Allison Parker, i live in Los Angeles, California, i am a designer specialized in T-Shirts, jackets and apparels usually worn by rock stars. i did pretty good in this and it brought me far to this entertainment world. so here goes my story--
at the office --
al : (typing)
pam : as a secretary, i did everything u asked me to do, now as a friend can i ask when can we get the hell outta here? cuz seriously, its been a tough day
al: what time is it?
pam: its almost 9, why? you cant get out now?
al: (sigh) i gotta get this contract done
pam: seriously, al?
al: take woo bin with you
pam: you know he wont go anywhere without you
WooBin (WB): she's right.. can we go now?
al: (typing) nope...
WB: sorry pam, i gotta stay with her
pam: i dont get you guys..i really dont..(leave)
---Woo bin is my Korean best friend who's been with me for the whole 6 years, 3 years in college, and 3 years of working at the same place, he's my photographer, my half, soul mate, we have this connection that no one will ever understand. ---
on the way home --
wb: (driving)
al: so who's coming?
wb: where?
al: the party, this weekend..
wb: oh yea...a friend of mine is coming from korea
al: ooo, is he cute?
wb: (chuckles) i have no idea of answering that..
al: pictures?
wb: my cell
al: (looking) holy shit he's cute, you gotta take him, take him!
wb: he's cute?
al: are you kidding me? he's hot! is he a rocker?
wb: he's a drummer..he used to play for this korean rock band called The Trax..look it up..he quit the band 2 years ago and he told me that he won an audition for this band in California
al: when is he coming?
wb: tomorrow..i should pick him up at the airport
al: can i go?
wb: (chuckles) whatever
al: (excited)
wb: what're you so excited about? you haven't met him yet
al: oh but i will
wb: (laughs)
al: he's available isn't he?
wb: last time i checked yeah
al: daaaaebak!
wb: (laughs)
6 years of friendship with this guy, i really should learn his native language.
at my place ---
al: you wanna come in?
wb: you got food in there?
al: some left overs
wb: (chuckles) yea what the hell.. (gets off the car)
al: Dexter's on..c'mon!
Inside my apartment ---------
wb: (takes off his jacket)
al: im gonna go change, you get some .. food, or whatever (leave)
wb: pizza?!
al: yea,awesome!
wb: (dialing)
a few minutes later -------
al: yaaay pizza! (take one)
wb: we're not supposed to stay up late tonight, photo shoot at 8 tomorrow
al: what're you, high school student? tsk..
wb: sweety, you're always late
al: i'll make it (eats) i will!
wb: alright..(eats)
al: is he a fun guy?
wb: huh?
al: your friend..is he a fun guy?
wb: yeah, he doesn't talk much tho, girls would call him..Cool, a bit picky bout girls, but i think he's gonna like you
al: really?? (laughs) you're kidding me, right?
wb: i like you..(winks)
al: (chuckles) asshole..
wb: (laughs)
al: you're staying here tonight?
wb: nope...i got stuff i gotta do at home
al: what, jerkin off? (laughs)
wb: haha, it's job related, i need to arrange some pictures..what time is it?
al: almost ten
wb: i gotta go, pick you up at 6
al: 6?? are you kidding me?
wb: six...big day tomorrow, i got your key, i'll wake you up. night (kiss my cheek)
al: you're not fun (frowns)
wb: yea but you're stuck with me...(smile and leave)
al: tsk..
wb: lock your door!!
The next morning, we had a photo shoot schedule with a band called Pennywise, they were willing to be our models. In my office--
al: they're here?
wb: no not yet..i'll get ready(leave)
pam: (coming) how much do i have to pay to sleep with that guy?
al: with woo bin?
pam: yeah..100/hour? (chuckles)
al: (laughs) get another man, he'll never hook up with anyone, and no he's not gay
pam: right..
al: he's not
pam: what, you tested him before?
al: (quiet)
pam: holy shit, you did??? o my god allie, are you two..?
al: no we're not dating
pam: i was gonna say f--- buddies
al:(chuckles)
pam: are you????
al: i don't know we're just..friends ok? that's it..now stop with the questions
pam: (laughs) i'll do anything to be his f--- buddy..
al: (laughs)
pam: oh they're almost here..contracts and all details here. i'll be at my desk (leave)
al: thanks
F--- Buddies? where the hell did she get the idea..oh well, it just happened once or twice..LOL..what d'ya know, i got a hot bestfriend.
After work ---
wb: i gotta go to the airport, you're coming?
al: yea hold on a sec
wb: let's go we're almost late!
al: yea i'm on it! jeez..
So here we are at the airport, picking up woo bin's friend from korea
wb: what's the matter with you?
al: what?
wb: you're biting your nails
al: (chuckles) i am??
wb: yea and you're doing it again
al: (stops biting)
wb: (laughs) relax, will ya? (holds me)
al: i am... and what the hell's takin him so long? it's been like ..
wb: there he is..in leather jacket, with guitar
Min Woo (mw) : (walking towards us)
al: (looking at him )
and as he walked toward us, i just couldn't keep my eyes off of him. as he walked, he smiled at woo bin and i felt like i was mesmerized by him
wb: (looking at me) you can at least close your mouth
al: shut up
wb: seriously, you're drooling
al: tskk..
and as he approached, i felt the heartbeat raced even faster
wb: yaaah! hyung!
mw: (hugging him)
wb: (laughs) you look great
mw: you too (chuckles)
wb: oh this is, a friend of mine, Allison Parker...allie meet No Min Woo
al: (shaking his hand) hey..(smiling)
mw: (smiling) hi, nice to meet you
wb: (looking at us strangely)
mw: can we get outta here? i'm really sick of airports
wb: yeah let's go.. (taking his luggage) you only bring one luggage?
mw: i can buy other stuffs here
wb: (laughing)
look at these two hot korean guys.. LOL.. oh well, i just couldn't stop looking at min woo
On our way home
wb: (driving) al, you're ok?
al: yeah (smiling)
wb: you haven't said a word since we got outta there
al: really? i'm just hungry i guess
mw: (laughing) me too, show me the best restaurant here.
al: burgers?
mw: anything
al: let's go to Papa Joe's
wb: alright!
al: it's got the best italian junk food ever
mw: (laughing) take me there
al : (chuckles)
and he kept looking at me too! tried so hard to keep things unawkward.
At Papa Joe's ----
wb: what're you having ?
mw: anything, man..just get me food
wb: arraseo..i'll go order (leaving)
mw: he didnt ask what you're having?
al: oh he knows
mw: really? are you two dating?
al: me and woo bin??? (laughing) hell no, we've been friends for .. 6 years
mw: 6 years??
al: yeah, we met in college, he was this lonely hot korean boy sitting in the corner of a cafeteria, playing with his camera, all by himself. i said 'why would a handsome boy like him have no friends?'
mw: (laughing) he was always like that, which what connected us both, i do pretty much the same thing. sit in the corner, all by myself, playing guitar and write songs
al: wow...you two are really connected
mw: yeah,
al: how did you find each other?
mw: hmm..we both grew up in Seattle, we were neighbors . our moms are friends...after high school my family went back to Korea and i started playing music there
al: was it succesful?
mw: it was pretty good
al: why'd you quit?
mw: a friend of mine from high school called me, he made a rock band here and offered a record deal but the drummer wasn't good enough so he called me
al: (smiling) i'd love to see you play
mw: (smiling) i'll let you know
apparently, from far..Woo Bin was watching us talking. There was a bit of sad look on his face. and tried to hide it as he came back to the table
wb: (sitting) hey, i got you lasagna
mw: awesome..
wb: and your usual
al: gomawo (smiling)
mw: yaaa you speak hangul?
al: are you kidding me?6 years of being friends with this guy, i really gotta learn his language. he swore at me in hangul! can you believe that?
mw: (laughing)
al: um chang seki (trans: you piece of s--- )
mw: whoaaaaa! (laughing)
wb: (laughing)
al: you two better not talk about me behind my back
wb: why would i, i love your back
al: haha
mw: (laughing) you two are something
al: oh hey, tell him bout the party
wb: o yeah we're umm...having this party tomorrow, can you make it?
mw: what time?
al: 8
mw: yeah sure, i'll be finished by then
al: there'll be rock stars there, i'll meet you to them
mw: seriously?
al: what, you don't know what we do for living?
mw: what d'you do?
al: (laughs) i design tshirts, jackets and all apparels usually worn by rock stars
mw: and your clients are..
al: avenged sevenfold, MCR, AFI, i cant name all of 'em
mw: and you do the photo shoots?
wb: yeah
mw: and you never told me that?
wb: you never asked
mw: (chuckles)
al: i'll give them good words about you..so be there
mw: absolutely
al: (smiling) oh..ladies room, be right back (leaving)
mw: permission to date her?
wb: mwo??
mw: i wanna ask her for a date, is that ok with you?
wb: umm..yeah! why wouldn't it be? (nervous)
mw: seriously?
wb: yeah ask her
mw: (smiling) thanks man..she's awesome
wb: (smiling nervously)
it wasn't entirely okay with him, i knew he would mind and he just couldn't let it out.
a few hours later, we got home--
al: okay this is me.. i had a great time
mw: i'll be at his place if you need me
al: (laughs) thanks i'll keep that in mind, night guys! (gets off the car)
wb: night! (drives away)
al: (inhales) wow..
The next day, we got ready for the party, wore my best black Gothic dress and waited for the guys to pick me up. there was a bit of nervousness in me, probably cuz i was about to meet the guy i like----
